1. Why are you collecting this information?

  • Answers help the IPIA provide targeted educational content to help you succeed.
  • Answers provide data to help you financially: such as negotiating better contracts, applying for loans/grants, asking for a raise, helping new pole businesses understand the market BEFORE they start, and more!

2. Who can participate in this survey?

  • All people who make a living or part of their living in the pole industry should respond. This survey is NOT for hobbyists. Don’t make money doing pole? Please skip this survey.

3. How will my data be used?

  • Answers are completely anonymous.
  • All questions are optional. Skip questions you don’t want to answer!
  • All answers will be reviewed, analyzed, and aggregate data will be shared via our website, newsletter, and social media channels.
  • No personal data should be put in the survey. No personal data will be shared.

4. How will my data be stored?

  • We use a tool called Survey Monkey to collect anonymous data. All anonymous data collected through the survey will be stored in that tool.
  • All answers will be reviewed, analyzed, and aggregate data will be shared via our website, newsletter, and social media channels.

5. Why are you asking about finances?

  • To support current and future pole business professionals making financial decisions in our industry.

  • Survey is open now through March 31, 2024. Data will be analyzed and shared by end of May 2024 on our website, newsletter, and social media channels.
