When Celebrities Culture Vulture and How Poling Helps Them with AMD: Throughout the years we have seen celebrities be drawn to pole dancing and then scream about it on daytime television. This is EXACTLY how pole dancing had it’s come upins. Looking back, I can say that it was the ‘Big Bang’ of pole dancing. While that helped pole dancing back then, it hurt sex workers. And it continues to hurt sex workers. In this webinar, we will examine the origins of the pole dance bang, how it helped and hurt. We will also discuss the current climate of celebrities being, what sex workers are now calling culture vultures. Members of the sex worker community are actively working with celebrities and having conversations with them on how to best represent them. By speaking up for strippers and sex workers, and understanding how to be in solidarity with them, we strengthen the value of true equality for all genders.
